Design Philosophy

My work is a dialogue between the volcanic energy of my Batur roots and the stillness of Munduk. Shaped by years of collaboration in Bali’s creative scene and the raw defiance of Basquiat, I use instinctive mark-making to explore the tension between identity and place. For me, painting is a quiet rebellion and a visceral documentation of heritage that values the honesty of the process over the polish of the finish.
